it's hard to forget. it's tough to try not think about it. it's even harder to pretend that everything's alright when it's not.

when i think about what you said. how it made me feel. it hurts. i listen to songs that reminded me of you. i really miss you. wonder how you're doing. but it really hurt knowing you felt that way and i decided to withdraw myself.

i dont want to be the one always the one the first to try. cos i know you won't. when i think about it. i wonder what went wrong. i try to erase the memory of that very night when you told me how you felt. denial's not the way to go. but it's wat i'm doing. sometimes i blame myself.

i think about what you said. that night as i read the words off the computer screen. tears flowed. my mind wandered. heart ached. heart wrenched. tears dried. heart broken. shattered. left it all behind. walked away. pretended everything's all right. smiled.

but a broken smile.
